If a bucket drum seems a little unaesthetic to you, then you can try a more noble model. Take a thin veneer, glue it in several layers with high-quality glue. Bend the veneer carefully, secure. Now process the base of the drum with sandpaper, varnish or, if you prefer, paint first, and then varnish on top. Wait for the coating to dry. Make the bottom also from veneer, attach to the base. Pull the skin tight, fix it. Now you can decorate the drum to your liking, and that's it! You can be proud of your own made drum.
