It is difficult to imagine a more popular game for young people and schoolchildren than Counter Strike. For more than one year, they prefer to play it with friends over the network. But not everyone knows how to accomplish this task.

Instructions
Step 1
Install the game Counter Strike itself on your computer. Remember that it is not very demanding for the operating system. Even 256 MB of RAM and a video card with 64 MB of memory may be enough for you. If you set out to play online, then all your friends should have similar computers that have a high-speed Internet connection (128 Kbps). Alternatively, an Ethernet connection to a local network will do. Once you are satisfied that you meet these requirements, proceed to the next step.
Step 2
Launch Counter Strike on your computer and click on the "New game" function. Next, in the window that opens, make a choice of the map on which the network game will take place. After that, open a window in a new tab where you can find detailed match settings. Immediately write a name for your player, by which your friends will distinguish you.
Step 3
Set a limit on the number of players on the server. Make a password to connect to the game server. Then make adjustments to options such as the initial amount of money and participants, audibility or absence of footsteps, damage when players are defeated and others. Once you complete this step, click on the "OK" button. Everything. The game will now load.
Step 4
Connect your friends to the upcoming match too. To do this, click on the "Find Servers" button in the root window of the game. After that, your friends need to find you by selecting the name of your server (inform it in advance), and clicking the "Connect" function. If necessary, have them enter the password to connect. The match will start over when a new player connects. This will continue until the last friend of yours joins the game.
Step 5
Make sure that all participants choose a team for themselves, on which side they want to play. Either they are terrorists or counter-terrorists. The game is divided into several rounds, each of which can end with the death of the participants or the successful completion of the mission. Basically, you can play Counter Strike with your friends almost indefinitely, constantly changing cards and roles.
