In Adobe Photoshop, photos and any other images can be modified beyond recognition, and almost any of your creative ideas in image processing using Photoshop can become a reality. Often, when working with photographs or in the process of creating collages and photomontages, there is a need to rotate the image in a mirror image - so that the figure in the photo remains the same as before, but looks in the opposite direction, or even turns upside down.
Instructions
Step 1
To unfold an image, open it in the program, and then go to the Edit menu and select the Rotate Canvas item. Select the Flip Canvas Horizontal or Flip Canvas Vertical subsections.
Step 2
With the help of these commands, you can rotate the picture horizontally or vertically in a couple of seconds, depending on what result you want to get. This way you will be able to unfold all layers of the image.
Step 3
If you need to unfold only one layer without touching the rest - for example, leave the landscape as it was, and unfold the object placed on it in the other direction - use the Edit> Transform command, and already here select Flip Horizontal or Flip in the subsections Vertical.
Step 4
Accordingly, you can flip any object on a separate layer, or all image layers as a whole, from right to left, or flip vertically.
Step 5
To flip just one layer from the entire set of layers in a photo or drawing, you can use the Layers palette. Right on the palette, click on the layer that you want to change and expand, and make sure that it is not linked to other layers.
Step 6
After that, repeat the action already described above - open the Edit menu, select the Transform item and indicate whether you want to flip the image horizontally (Flip Horizontal) or flip it vertically (Flip Vertical).
