Director and actor Stanislav Sergeevich Govorukhin lived for 82 years. In his films, he filmed the most beautiful women in Soviet and Russian cinema, enjoyed success with them, but was married only twice.
First wife of Govorukhin
Govorukhin saw his future first wife on the stage of the Kazan Drama Theater. He worked for a local TV company, it was not difficult to get to know the famous actress. Subsequently, the director recalled that he stole the bride right from the stage.
Smart, talented and self-sufficient Juno Kareva was a worthy trophy. Father (architect Ilya Feldman) named his daughter after the name of the main Roman goddess for a reason. The blood of peoples known for their beauties was mixed in her veins. The Polish grandmother sang beautifully. My grandfather was a Bulgarian revolutionary. Mother was a professional pianist.
At the age of 9, while being evacuated, Juno realized that she was also talented. The wounded in the hospital listened to poems in her performance for hours, without moving, holding their breath. At the entrance exams to the Moscow Theater School named after M. S. Shchepkina, the girl read excerpts from Russian classics and was accepted, despite the accent (after the war, the family lived in Kharkov for a long time).
After college, the young actress did not stay in Moscow. Kazan became her favorite city for the rest of her life. In the local theater, Juno was accepted unconditionally, she refused to leave it even when her first husband was invited to appear in the capital.
After meeting and legalizing relations with Stanislav Govorukhin, Juno continued to play under her former theatrical name (Kareva). Thanks to his smart and educated wife, the television director, a geologist by education, became his own in the theatrical environment, learned and understood a lot. When he decided that he needed to get a professional education in the capital, Yunona Ilyinichna supported him, but she herself refused to move to Moscow again.
The marriage soon fell apart. The actress independently raised her son, then married for the third time, to the director of the local philharmonic society Marat Tazetdinov. Due to his great employment, his own father had little contact with the only heir, which he later bitterly regretted, since the fate of Sergei Stanislavovich turned out to be difficult. The son of the famous director served in Afghanistan, was wounded and lost his leg. He also became a director, but died early, barely reaching the age of 50.
Juno Kareva was very upset about the death of her only son; she died shortly after his funeral. During her life, a woman took place not only as an actress, but also as a teacher.
The viewer remembered Juno Kareva for her small supporting role in the film "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed". The actress played the devoted wife of the intelligent hero Sergei Yursky.
Stanislav Govorukhin, having become a cult director, still respected Yunona Ilyinichna and appreciated her talent, maintaining good friendly relations with his ex-wife. Until his death, he continued to communicate with his grandchildren, pampered them, tried to give them what he did not have time to give to his only son. He divided the inheritance between them and his second wife Galina, who lived with him for almost half a century.

Smart, calm and devoted Galina Govorukhina always supported her husband, understood him, provided all the opportunities for creativity. She grew up with him, creating the most favorable environment around the master, not paying attention to rumors and gossip, of which there are always a lot of famous people around.
She first saw him when she was almost a girl. A young woman from Odessa did not enter the Institute after school and got a job at a film studio. Govorukhin was almost a god on the set. At least the women loved him and assured that Galya would also fall in love with him as soon as she saw him. Galina did not agree. The photo of a shaved man did not impress the young beauty.
But a few days after meeting Stanislav, he was already everything for the girl. Govorukhin made the decision to marry Gala in the first minutes of acquaintance, in order to live the rest of his life with her.
The rest of the director's women
Stanislav Govorukhin, by virtue of his profession, has always been among the most beautiful ladies (Larisa Luzhina, Larisa Udovichenko, Maria Mironova, Elena Dudina). He knew how to create female images for the screen, light up new stars.
One of the brightest stars created by the director's talent is Svetlana Khodchenkova. During the filming period, Govorukhin was almost the same age as Galina when she first met the director, i.e. 19 years. Svetlana was young and beautiful, but the film, by and large, was dedicated to Galina. Nevertheless, the master managed to reveal the potential of the young actress, to make the viewer fall in love with her so much that her subsequent career became a matter of technique.
Pygmalion himself lost interest in his creation very quickly, right after Svetlana parted with those extra pounds. Having chosen model standards, Khodchenkova, according to the director, has lost her individuality.
Galina Govorukhina has always kept her family together. Despite the absence of children, the hearth was always warm, the director returned to it from any wanderings. The wife has always been philosophical about gossip and rumors. When one of Govorukhin's supporting actresses Anastasia Marttsinkovskaya announced that she had given birth to a child from him and that this baby was seriously ill, it was Galina who insisted on sending a large sum of money to the family.
Stanislav Govorukhin, one of the best Russian directors, knew how to appreciate beauty, create it and give it to the viewer. But he appreciated loyalty, humanity, patience and understanding in people even more.
