In autumn or spring, when a warm hat is no longer necessary, a knitted beret will come in handy. You can match the color of the threads to your scarf, gloves, bag and even to the color of your eyes, this beret will become a real decoration of your look. You can knit beret with knitting needles without a scheme, for this you just need to know the principle of reducing and adding loops.
It is necessary
- - yarn;
- - knitting needles circular or hosiery 3, 5 mm.
Instructions
Step 1
Tie a small sample, 10 stitches long and high. Using a ruler, measure its size, count how many loops are in one centimeter of length and width. Find out the circumference of your head and calculate how many loops should be at the beginning of knitting. If it's difficult to count, cast on 110 loops, knit several rows and try on.
Step 2
Cast on the number of stitches that match your head circumference. If you are knitting on stocking needles, with a seam, add two hem loops. When knitting with a pattern, calculate the multiple of how many loops the canvas should be. For example, if you are planning to take with braids, you may have 10 braids, which will be unchanged to the very top, and you can change the fabric between them.
Step 3
Knit two rows, then make several rows of elastic, 1x1 or 2x2. Divide the fabric into 10 equal pieces and start knitting the pattern.
Step 4
After two rows, add two loops per piece. Add loops by knitting a loop from the previous row or with a chain loop. In any case, always add them in the same way - so that the canvas is symmetrical and neat.
Step 5
Next, knit the selected pattern, adding two loops every four rows. After row 15, knit 10 rows with a continuous cloth.
Step 6
Decrease, two stitches for each piece, and knit 8 more rows. Cut two stitches again and knit 8 rows. Next, increase the intensity of the decreases: remove two loops on every fourth row.
Step 7
When there are 4 loops left on the needles from each part, that is, 40 loops, knit two rows of hosiery, regardless of the pattern. Knit a new row like this: knit two, knit two together, until the end of the row, that is, you will cut every fourth loop.
Step 8
Knit one row with knit stitches. Next, cut every third stitch by knitting one st, then two together. You now have 20 stitches left.
Step 9
In the next row, knit all the loops in two, you will have 10 loops on the needles. Cut the thread and pull the end through the remaining loops, tie and hide it. Beret knitted, ready, try on!
