The beaded handle is an original accessory that will cheer you up on gray working days. Also, such a pen can be an unusual gift for your loved ones.
It is necessary
- - a pen;
- - fishing line;
- - beads;
- - glue.
Instructions
Step 1
First, pick up a thin handle, because after you braid it with beads, it will become much thicker. It is important that the pen not only looks good, but also feels comfortable to write.
Step 2
String fourteen beads on the line. Depending on the thickness of the handle and the size of the beads, the number of beads may vary, but you will need exactly fourteen for a standard handle.
Step 3
Close a part of the line with the beads strung on it into a ring and thread the line through the penultimate bead of the initial row.
Step 4
String another bead on the line and thread it into the third bead from the end. Moving in this way in a spiral, you can completely braid the handle. Do not forget to constantly tighten the ends of the line so that your weaving does not dangle on the handle, but fits tightly.
Step 5
To finish weaving, cast on the line two regular beads, then a bead with a wider hole, and again two regular beads, which you will thread into the outermost bead from the opposite side. Doing this several times will braid the edge of the handle. Carefully tuck the edges of the line into operation, if necessary, lightly scorch the edges with a lighter. The handle is now ready to use.
Step 6
If you do not want to intertwine the beads, decorating the handle with beads can be easier. To do this, string beads on the fishing line. With the resulting tourniquet, wrap the handle, gluing it with quick-drying glue. On the cap, you can weave a tassel or some kind of beaded animal to make your pen look even more interesting.
