In order to play this game with other players, you can either go to someone else's server or create your own. In case you decide to create your own server, you should follow a few simple guidelines.

Step 1
The main problem of many players playing on the network is the large number of additional files and sounds that they have to download from the server. Remember that your target audience is not only professional gamers, but also those who have been playing for less than a year. People who just want to play may be interested in unusual sounds, skins and textures, but the likelihood that they will wait until they download them to go to your server is minimal. Skins and sounds that make your server stand out from the crowd should not be heavy and make it difficult to enter the game.
Step 2
Use plugins that are easy to use while playing but are not standard. The most popular are stun grenades, soundtrack of events in the game, as well as highlighting received and inflicted damage at the moment of a shot. Consider combinations of plugins, but don't overload the server with them.
Step 3
Don't let cheaters spoil the game for other players on your server. Install cheat protection on your server. It can be either My-AC or VAC anti-cheat. My-AC is more reliable as it runs separately from the game and monitors button presses. Assign administrators who will be responsible for kick and ban cheaters, install a plugin that allows players to call voting for a ban.
Step 4
When appointing administrators, it makes sense to give them advantages over other players. Whether it's extra armor, health, or access to any weapon at any time, the choice is yours. The most important thing is to maintain such a balance that the administrator's position will have significant advantages over other players, but not so great that the balance is not observed. It would be reasonable to make the administrator's position paid.
Step 5
To motivate players to play on your server, enter a rating and a rank system. When calculating the rating, shots, hits, deaths and frags are taken into account, in the case of ranks, ranks are awarded for completing a mission and frags.
