Will Rock is one of the most successful clones of Serious Sam, while retaining a more or less original setting. When there is some crisis in the genre, it is not surprising that many players return to this project and create new servers for collective play.
Instructions
Step 1
If the computers are connected by a local network, then the server is created immediately after startup. You just need to open the "Network game" item, select the LAN option and click the "Create game" button, and then set the parameters of the future match. The connecting player, accordingly, enters the same menu, but selects the "Join" item. In the window that appears, you need to enter the IP address of the creating computer.
Step 2
For a comfortable game on the Internet, you can use the Hamachi program. In fact, it creates a virtual local area network that works absolutely similar to the real one, but is organized via the Internet.
Step 3
Download the Hamachi client and run it. Select the Create Network button and give it a name. The rest of the players must also "log in" to Hamachi and find the network you created through the search. Your IP address on the new network is shown immediately below the start button - share it with your friends. Once all players are registered in the new network, follow the instructions in step 1. The only and obvious disadvantage is that the server remains closed, only for its players.
Step 4
Use Tunngle to create a public server. It works in the same way as Hamachi, however, it is organized according to the principle of rooms: in each room there are up to 255 people at the same time with a general chat, which allows you to cooperate with players unfamiliar to you.
Step 5
Download Tunngle client, update it and register on the official website. Open the program and enter the details of the purchased account there - you will be allowed to use the program.
Step 6
Go to the Will Rock room, click on the orange arrow (rocket) icon and in the menu that appears, select the exe-file that launches the game. Your IP is recorded in the lower right corner of the window: tell it to the chat and make a note (preferably in English) that you are creating a server and inviting those who wish. After that, click on the orange arrow again - this will start the game. Next, again, follow the instructions from the first step.
