Ballerinas are quite popular footwear lately. In shoe stores, they are presented in a wide range. However, if you have free time, you can sew ballet flats yourself, especially since you do not need to be an outstanding seamstress for this.
It is necessary
- for ballet flats:
- - gilded leather;
- - two pairs of soles;

- - clothes pegs;
- - pins;
- - a hammer;
- - glue;
- - elastic band.
- To decorate ballerinas:
- - the ballet shoes themselves;
- - old newspapers;
- - large stones and rhinestones;
- - gold beads;
- - glue;
- - a can of gold paint;
- - paint remover;
- - adhesive and satin tapes;
- - toothpicks and cotton swabs;
- - fishing line, scissors and a needle.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the spacer, top material, according to the pattern in the figure. Stitch the heel seam, stitch the top seam. It will be interesting to look at the contrast of negative and positive fabric patterns.
Step 2
Cut the allowances close to the seam, cut at the rounded edges, turn out the part and stitch the drawstring. Pass the rubber band into the drawstring with a safety pin. Cut off the ends with a rounding, measuring the desired length.
Step 3
Pin the upper fabric around the sole. Lay the cuts around the gasket and glue. Use clothespins to keep the glue firmly in place.
Step 4
Now glue the bottom sole to the ballerinas using clothespins as well. Next, punch through the blocks with a hammer, pass a satin ribbon through them and tie it with a bow. The ballerinas are ready.
Step 5
If you want to decorate your newly-made or long-standing ballerinas, first use gold paint to paint the socks of the ballerinas. To do this, first glue the newspapers with adhesive tape, next to the beginning of the cutout on the shoe. Now paint the socks, strictly following the instructions. After the paint has dried, remove the adhesive tape and newspaper. If after painting you find irregularities, remove unnecessary traces with a cotton swab dipped in paint remover.
Step 6
Now select rhinestones, beads and stones, determine their location on the dyed toes of the ballerinas. Secure large items with glue. First string the golden beads on the fishing line, measure the size and tie in the right place. Now glue the beads along with the fishing line to the desired location. After the glue dries, cut the line and pull it out of the beads.
Step 7
Finally, you will need to make some beautiful bows from satin ribbons. Cut off the unnecessary ends of the ribbons. Secure the bows with a needle and thread with a few stitches on the inside. Now all that remains is to glue the finished bows to the ballerinas.
