The gamer has the ability to create the latest installations for energy production, automation of various processes and other game tasks. For the first of the above steps, a solar panel comes in handy.
The difference between an improved solar panel and a conventional one
Such energy sources have existed at Industrial Craft from the very beginning. However, gamers were not very happy with them. To really fully replenish the energy needs in the game, it was required to build just a huge field, consisting entirely of solar panels. In addition, such devices were very capricious in terms of weather conditions and time of day. They functioned, in fact, only on a clear day, which made them little sense.
Therefore, the developers of the mod have created a special addon for it - Advanced Solar Panels. This addition has added to the game improved panels for the accumulation and conversion of solar energy. They have become more compact, but at the same time very capacious. In addition, they are capable of producing electricity even at night and in bad weather.
Resources for creating such a panel with a simple method
There are two ways to craft such a panel - simpler and more complicated. In the first case, to create it, you will need a solar battery, a composite, reinforced glass, an improved electrical circuit and an improved body of the mechanism, or a luminous reinforced plate - depending on which version of the mod is used: 3.3.4 or older.
Composite is obtained by compressing a special composite ingot with a compressor. This initial material is created from an alloy of three metals: refined iron, bronze and tin - in the form of ingots or plates. The composite is also needed for the manufacture of reinforced glass. To do this, two of its plates are installed in the extreme cells of the middle vertical or horizontal row of the workbench. The rest of the slots are occupied by glass blocks. From this amount of materials, seven units of reinforced glass are obtained.
A solar panel is much more difficult to craft. Here you will need three glass blocks and units of coal dust, two electrical circuits and a generator. The latter is installed in the center of the lower row of the crafting grid, electrical circuits are placed on the sides of it, coal dust is placed above it and in the upper corners, and the rest of the places go to glass.
An improved wiring diagram is made from the usual one, which must be placed in the center of the machine for this. At the corners of its grid there will be four units of redstone dust, in the two remaining vertical cells - light dust (created by the destruction of glostone - a glowing stone from Hell), and in a pair of horizontal ones - lapis lazuli.
The improved body of the movement is made from a similar simple device. The usual body of the mechanism must be placed in the central cell of the workbench, two units of carbon fiber (obtained by compressor compression of carbon fiber) should be placed on the sides of it, four plates of hardened iron should be placed in the corners, and a composite should be inserted into the remaining two cells.
If, instead of such a mechanism case, a luminous reinforced plate is used, it will be obtained from slightly different resources. This time, a reinforced plate of iron and iridium will go to the center of the machine, a diamond will be inserted under it, above it will be the solar part (made of light dust and two units of pink matter), ultramarine on the sides, and red dust in the corners.
Assembling an improved solar panel with the right resources is easy. The entire top row of the workbench will be occupied by three blocks of reinforced glass, a solar battery will go into the central slot, a composite on the sides of it, two improved electrical circuits under it, and between them an improved mechanism body or a luminous reinforced plate.
A sophisticated way to craft a green energy source
Making an improved solar panel with a more complex recipe should be done in much the same way. The only serious difference is that instead of reinforced glass, a luminous glass panel will be used in the same quantity - three pieces.
To make it, you first need to craft glowing uranium. To do this, its enriched ingot must be placed in the center of the workbench, and four units of light dust must be placed on the sides, bottom and top. You will need two such products.
The luminous uranium ingots will go to the outermost cells of the middle horizontal row of the machine, light dust will stand between them, and the rest six slots will be occupied by fortified glass. As a result, you will get luminous glass panels, and in sufficient quantity - six pieces (this is enough for two improved solar panels).
