Step 1
Poppy flower icon. Knead a small piece of red plastic in your hands until warm. Roll it into a thin pancake. To do this, you can use a pen or a special rolling pin for plastic.
Step 2
Shape the poppy petals by cutting them out with a knife or chisel (you can also just rip the material apart). Leave them connected in the middle. Straighten the edges so they are smooth. Remember: poppy petals are very thin, so often their edges form a beautiful wave, try to repeat it.
Step 3
Take 2 small pieces of black plastic. Knead and roll 2 circles out of them, one larger than the other. Take a knife and make many cuts going from the circle to the center. The distance between the cuts should be small to create a thin fringe. Insert the smaller circle into the larger one, and then pin them to the center of the flower.
Step 4
Secure a safety pin on the other side of the poppy. Place the finished product on a baking sheet. It is best to place a piece of baking paper or foil between them, as plastic can leave marks. Bake at 130 degrees in the oven for 30 minutes.
