RC boats are one of the popular model sectors. People who know how to hold a tool in their hands are quite capable of making a radio-controlled boat. The pleasure of using a hand-made model is much greater than that of a store-bought one.

Instructions

Step 1

Find blueprints or a detailed description of the scheme for manufacturing a radio-controlled boat on the Internet. You can also take such schemes in specialized literature or ask participants in thematic forums. Purchase all the necessary parts for making a radio-controlled boat: materials for making the hull, an electric motor, batteries, a remote control, a wire and a button from a computer mouse.

Step 2

Make a case. To do this, cut out the corresponding part from the cover of the old system unit or the refrigerator door and bend it with a vise. To make the bottom, cut out 2 corresponding parts, solder them and solder to the body.

Step 3

Process all sharp edges, lightly strip the soldering points, and cover the body with glue from the inside.

Step 4

Use wood instead of the cover of the system unit. In this case, the bottom must be attached to the body, and the resulting workpiece must be glued at the joints with masking tape from the outside, and from the inside, treated with glue and glued with fiberglass.

Step 5

Then epoxy the surfaces, remove the masking tape, tape the corners and clean all surfaces.

Step 6

Use small blocks from old broken home appliances to build superstructures. They can also be made from small wooden blocks or from the cover of the system unit. Anchor the superstructures to the deck and check the strength and watertightness of the entire structure.

Step 7

Buy a ready-made boat model if you don't want to make your own hull.

Step 8

Solder a small wire to the mouse button. Solder the opposite end of this wire to the electric motor (plus pole; minus pole - motor). Attach a mouse button to the remote control. Insulate all connections.

Step 9

Check that the structure works: when you press the mouse button, the boat should start moving.
