Instructions
Step 1
Cut the satin ribbon into 10 strips of 7 centimeters and 5 strips of 4 centimeters.
Step 2
Cut petals out of each piece: 10 larger, 5 smaller.
Step 3
Place a candle on the dish, light it and start finishing the edges. This will allow the future flower not to crumble and fall apart. Carefully bring the petal to the candle at a distance of 2 centimeters and slowly bring it closer to the flame. Pay attention to the edges, they should not melt and change color.
Step 4
Shape the petal to make the flower look vivid and realistic. Bring the petal from above above the flame, not forgetting that you can burn the material. Therefore, approach the petal very carefully, slowly. The petal will bizarrely bend. Heat both edges of the petal - top and bottom.
Step 5
You should have 15 petals. Spray each side with hairspray on both sides to set the result. Place on a flat surface and let dry. When the petals are dry, start assembling the flower. Take the rest of the satin ribbon. You need a small square of fabric, about three centimeters. Burn the edges at it so that the base does not fall apart. The flower will look more spectacular if you take a piece of mesh material instead of satin. In this case, there is no need to scorch the edges. Sew five petals to the base in a circle.
Step 6
Sew the next row of 5 petals in the same way, but place them at intervals in the petals of the previous row. Do the same for the remaining five small petals. Sew on the core (bead or shiny button). Squeeze the flower a little in your hands to form even more. Sprinkle it with varnish again, clench it into a fist and dry it with a hairdryer. The flower is ready.
