This will allow you to decorate the house with an interesting non-standard product and have a pleasant time working with your own hands. This craft is perfect for a country house or summer cottage. Making an unusual candlestick is very simple.
It is necessary
- - tin can;
- - bolt 40-50 mm with nut and washer;
- - short fixing bolts with nuts;
- - metal strip 20 x 3 or equivalent;
- - enamel for metal;
- - set of tools.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a frame for our candlestick out of a metal strip. It can be absolutely anything. The strip bends easily with your hands. Use pliers to form an even fold. The frame can be made as shown in the diagram. Take two trapezoidal blanks and combine them into a system that resembles a tree stand. They will be connected through the through hole marked with a red circle. The middle section must be bent in the center so that all corners touch the surface during installation.
Step 2
It is not at all necessary that the design be the same as described in paragraph one. You can make another version, which is shown in another diagram. Keep in mind that you will have to bend your legs a little on one side, because they will be at different heights. Both options can be modified to your liking.
Step 3
Now you need to connect the two blanks into the structure that you saw in the diagrams. To do this, we first sharpen the end of the long bolt. A candle will be pricked at this end, and its lower part will retain the thread and allow the two frames to be united.
Step 4
Before screwing the nut and washer, you need to make a lamp shade for a candle from tin from a tin can. You can choose absolutely any form. For example, such as shown in the diagram. It is important to work carefully with the tin. It is very sharp at the edges. Moreover, it can be easily cut with scissors. Better to use metal scissors. After the workpiece is cut out, fold the petals along the dotted line.
Step 5
Instead of a petal edging, you can use a tin can in which you cut the curly holes. They will glow when the candle is lit and create a gorgeous candlestick look.
Step 6
Now connect all the blanks into a single structure according to the approximate diagram.
Step 7
It remains to paint the finished structure and the candlestick is ready.
