Easter is a bright and one of the most beloved national holidays. For some, Easter is the awakening of nature, the onset of a real spring, the rebirth of the Sun, for others - the Resurrection of Christ. But both are waiting for the holiday, bake cakes, decorate eggs.
It is necessary
- - empty eggshells
- - glue
- - acrylic paints
- - napkins for decoupage (or printed pictures)
- - threads or ribbons
- - varnish
Instructions
Step 1
You can decorate for Easter not only boiled eggs, which are later eaten, but you can also make and decorate eggs that can be part of the Easter home decor for many years.
One of the ways is decorating eggs using decoupage technique.
Step 2
In order to get blanks for decoration, you need to thoroughly wash raw eggs, pierce holes from the sharp and blunt ends and carefully blow out the contents of the shells. Rinse and dry the shells themselves. Seal the hole from the blunt end with a piece of paper.
Step 3
Paint over the shells with acrylic paints. Cut out the pictures you like from the napkins, tear off the edges, remove the top layer and carefully stick it on the side of the shell.
Step 4
Place the ends of a folded loop of thick thread or ribbon into the hole at the sharp end of the eggshell. This is necessary so that the decorative egg can be hung, for example, when making an Easter tree. Or for making a festive pendant. If there is nothing like that in the plans, and the decorative eggs will lie in a basket or nest, then you can skip this step, and seal the hole from the sharp end with a piece of paper.
Step 5
Cover the prepared and dried eggs with a layer of varnish.
