Making paper flowers can become not only a pleasant pastime, but also a serious hobby, and even a way of earning money. With a certain skill, colorful compositions from colored paper can be an interesting design solution. The plant theme is always relevant in the interior. Try to make violets from thin stripes of different colors using the paper filigree technique (quilling).
It is necessary
- - colored paper or ready-made quilling strips;
- - PVA glue (polyvinyl acetate);
- - stationery knife;
- - ruler;
- - a quilling tool (awl, knitting needle, toothpick).
Instructions
Step 1
Look at bouquets or photographs of live violets and find the right color palette for your paper arrangement. Draw a diagram of the future relief painting - violets with petals of the chosen color, with small hearts, on thin stems with leaves. This will determine the required number of constituent modules.
Step 2
Quilling is based on twisting stripes into a spiral. A relief filigree is formed from various curls of one form or another. Make different spirals for a paper bouquet. For the cores, you will need simple round spirals. Cut the paper into even strips that are identical in size. It is recommended to do this along a ruler using a sharpened clerical knife. You can find ready-made sets of quilling strips in stores.
Step 3
Insert the end of the paper tape into the crevice of the special quilling tool and twist the tape tightly. Instead, you can use a small diameter awl, toothpick, or knitting needle. You should constantly adhere to the twisting spiral and control the tension of the strip.
Step 4
Remove the resulting figurine from the working tool. Before you is a simple, so-called free spiral roll. To prevent it from unwinding, glue the tip of the tape to the main part. According to the finished sample, make the cores of violets (rolls), for example, from yellow paper.
Step 5
Make violet petals from the same blanks. The rolls should take a teardrop shape. Press one piece of the loose spiral into a sharp corner. Make petal drops in the right amount - purple, red, yellow.
Step 6
Start making paper sheets. A free spiral, twisted from a strip of green paper, should take the shape of an eye. To achieve this effect, the workpiece is pressed with fingers from two opposite sides.
Step 7
To get the stems of violets, the green blank must be slightly dissolved at one end. Bend the resulting smooth line in the direction you need for the composition; Place the tip of the leaf on the glue for better fixation.
Step 8
Start assembling a paper violet bouquet. Lay the petals on a sheet of cardboard so that they touch in the center. Above - yellow cores. Spread the stems and leaves nicely over the substrate. If you are happy with the quality of the embossed painting, glue the violets to the base.
