Step 2
In the process of lighting a new pipe, carbon deposits form inside it, which subsequently enhances and improves the taste of the tobacco. Carbon deposits also protect the tube walls from excess moisture and burnout. Only after 5-6 lightings a sufficient carbon layer is formed (about 1.5 mm). After that, the pipe is considered lit up.
Step 3
The first way to light a pipe.
With this method, you should fill the pipe with tobacco completely - so that when you press on the tobacco with a treadmill, it bounces. With this method of smoking, the tobacco is not completely smoked.
Step 4
The second way to light a pipe.
The tube is 1/4 full and the tobacco is ignited over the entire surface. After that, several short puffs are made. After that, the tobacco is extinguished with a treadmill. In the next smoking, the pipe is already filled by 2/4, then by 3/4, and so on until the pipe is completely filled.
Step 5
After each pipe lighting, it should be thoroughly cleaned: remove the tobacco from the pipe and pull out the mouthpiece. Clean the mouthpiece with a special brush.
