How to make a candy tree

It is necessary

plastic bottle, scotch tape, packing tape, stapler, scissors, candy

Instructions

Step 1

To make a large candy tree, you need a large 1 liter plastic bottle. You can make a smaller candy tree, and a 0.5 liter bottle is suitable for this purpose. Ideally, it is advisable to find a cone-shaped bottle. Sweets should be wrapped, and sweets can be either single or in various bags. It is advisable to leave the plastic bottle full, as this will give the tree stability.

Step 2

Take the prepared candies and arrange them in the order in which they should be placed. You can make tiers according to the colors of the wrappers (blue, red, yellow, etc.) or arrange the candies randomly.

Step 3

To determine the approximate length, wind the packing tape in a spiral so that each subsequent turn is at a distance of about 5 cm from the previous one. Cut the resulting fragment, but with a margin of 30-50 cm. This is done in case the distance between the turns is less in places.

Step 4

Then take the sweets one by one and fasten them by the edge of the wrapper along the entire length of the tape every 1-2 cm using a stapler. The result is a long candy chain.

Step 5

Now fix one edge of the tape with candies with tape at the bottom of the bottle (the candies should hang down) and carefully holding the entire chain, wrap it around the bottle while gluing it with tape along the entire length. Continue spiraling all the way to the top to secure the edge of the delicious garland. As a result, you get a Christmas tree, the branches of which consist of sweets.

Step 6

Decorate the top with packing tape in the form of a bow and hanging serpentines, which are performed by a sharp movement of the scissors blade along the tape. You can also come up with additional decorations: stars, flowers, beads, confetti, etc.

Step 7

It will take some time to make a tree from candy, but the result will exceed all expectations. An unusual tasty tree will surprise any sweets lover.
