A candy gift can be not only tasty, but also beautiful. To surprise the person being presented with an original surprise, you can make a watch out of sweets. Such a souvenir will be a wonderful gift for the New Year, birthday and any other holiday.
Instructions
Step 1
To make the base of the watch out of sweets, cut out the frame of the required shape from foam or dense foam rubber. Optimally, a circle with a diameter of about 20 centimeters and a thickness of 5 cm is suitable for making watches.
Step 2
Cover the watch base with corrugated paper, foil, or opaque wrapping paper. For the back wall, cut a circle of cardboard 3 cm smaller than the base. Fold the edges of the paper and cover them with cardboard.
Step 3
Glue 12 candies in a circle on the base, simulating the time cut-off on the dial of a clock made of candies. Draw numbers if necessary and glue cardboard arrows.
Step 4
Make the top of the clock with two truffles to simulate alarm bells. Build legs from the same sweets. If the watch is unstable, you can make a cardboard stand for it. To do this, cut out a narrow, long trapezoid and glue its edge just above the middle of the clock on the back side.
Step 5
Decorate the watch with a bow, tinsel, beads or other decorative materials of your choice and depending on the occasion for the gift.
Step 6
It won't take a lot of time and money to make a sweet watch out of sweets, but the birthday person will certainly be pleased with the gift. If you also want to donate money, you can make a small surprise pocket in the watch.
