Instructions

Step 1

If you are a man, fit for military service in health, you have good physical fitness, excellent eyesight and you are from 17 to 40 years old - go to the French Embassy. You will be given the addresses of recruiting points in France. The legion is not allowed to recruit mercenaries abroad. You can also find the addresses of the points on the Internet yourself.

Step 2

Remember that the participation of a mercenary in hostilities, according to article 359, part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to seven years. You may not necessarily hit a hot spot, but there is a chance. Consider if you are worth the risk.

Step 3

If you nevertheless decide, buy a tour to France or get an invitation to any country of the Schengen agreement. Illegal arrival promises problems when entering the legion in France, and in case of failure - in the homeland. The Foreign Legion does not provide assistance in obtaining a French visa and issuing tickets.

Step 4

Take only the essentials on the road. A good knowledge of French is not required. The minimum set of phrases is required just to get to the recording point. Choose major cities like Paris or Marseille.

Step 5

Get an initial physical at a recruiting point. It lasts from 1 to 4 days. If everything is within normal limits, get ready to move to Aubagne near Marseille. There is the central selection point.

Step 6

Take a full physical, psychological tests, and fitness test, and during the qualifying tests, you will be provided with everything you need for free and will also give you a small amount of pocket money.

Step 7

If you are successful, sign your first five-year contract. The contract sets a strict condition - to serve unquestioningly in any conditions wherever you are sent. You will be provided with food, uniforms, medical care and a place to stay free of charge. The salary will depend on your rank and qualifications. A private gets 1,000 euros a month; in case of failure, go home at your own expense.
