Step 1
Find the coordinates of the societies of hunters and fishermen from a directory or the Internet: primary organizations are created at enterprises, institutions, educational institutions. They unite into district, regional, and together they make up the Russian Association of Public Associations of Hunters and Fishermen ("Rosokhotrybolovsoyuz").
Step 2
Check if your age meets the requirements: you can join the society of hunters and fishermen from the age of 16 (without the right to hunt rifle up to 18 years old), for those who are engaged in sport fishing - from the age of 14. If you are younger, you can join the section of young hunters (from 14 years old) or the section of young fishermen (from 10 years old).
Step 3
To join the society, candidates must pass the appropriate exams: hunters pass the hunting and fishing minimum, and fishermen - only the fishing minimum. Programs and a list of exam questions can be obtained from the district, city or regional society of hunters and fishermen.
Step 4
Immediately after admission to the society, a membership card is issued - and it is extended until March 31 of the next year. Members of the society of hunters and fishermen are registered in the primary organization at the place of work, study or residence. Membership fees are also accepted there - this is a prerequisite. Contributions are paid before the first hunting or fishing trip, but no later than June 30 of the current year.
