PSP (PlayStation Portable) is a portable game console from Sony. By default, you can download games to your console using PlayStation Network via PlayStation 3 or by purchasing a game disc. But the popularity of the console was brought by custom firmware.
Instructions
Step 1
Custom firmwares are assembled by players. They allowed you to run a disc image with a game directly from a memory card, which cannot be done from a console with an official firmware. To install images of games in ISO or CSO format on a PSP, the console must have custom GEN or M33 firmware, and not manufacturer. If you want to launch new games on your PSP, it is advisable that the firmware is the latest version. Step 2
When you have flashed the console, download the game you are interested in in ISO or CSO format. After that, using the WinRAR archiving program on your computer, unpack the game image file. After that, you need to copy the game to the Z: / ISO / folder, where “Z” is the name assigned by the Windows operating system for the memory card (see in the “My Computer ). The folder named ISO must be at the root of the memory card. If there is no such folder, do not try to create it manually - you need to format the card through the PSP menu, and all the files in the console's memory will be deleted. After formatting, the ISO folder will appear on its own.
Step 3
Now you need to insert any game disc into the console's UMD drive, even a demo disc will do. Without a disc, no matter which one, the game image will not start. Otherwise, you can try to enable the “Use NO-UMD” option in the “Recovery” menu. It is located in the “Configuration” section. Then some game images will run even if there is no disc in the UMD drive.
Step 4
Go to the "Game" menu, then to the "Memory Stick", and you will see your game. Press the X button on your PSP to start playing.
