Handicrafts are expensive; not everyone can afford to constantly buy some beautiful little things in the form of figurines, caskets and other things. If you want to have several exclusive boxes in your arsenal, I advise you to make them yourself, using ordinary scotch tape reels as a basis.
It is necessary
- - scotch tape reel;
- - wallpaper or colored paper of two colors;
- - glue;
- - cardboard;
- - pencil;
- - scissors;
- - scotch tape;
- - brush;
- - beads, lace, ribbons (any decorative elements).
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, prepare all the necessary tools and materials to create the box.
Step 2
Take thick cardboard, a reel of duct tape and a pencil, place the reel on the cardboard, carefully circle it twice on the outside and once on the inside. Cut out the resulting parts with scissors.
Step 3
From colored paper of the same color, cut out two circles the size of the previously cut out circle of smaller diameter, as well as a rectangle with a length equal to the circumference of this circle and two centimeters wide. On colored paper of a different color, draw two circles with a diameter equal to the larger circle that you cut out at the very beginning of the needlework. Next, increase the diameter of these circles by about a centimeter, then cut them out and make notches on the sides, thanks to which the gluing procedure will be easier in the future. Cut out rectangles from paper of the same color and thick cardboard, the dimensions of which should be exactly the same as the rectangle cut out earlier.
Step 4
Glue a cardboard rectangle to a circle made of cardboard of a larger diameter along its side (it is better to use tape), then carefully glue a circle and a rectangle made of colored paper to the inside of the resulting "cover". Glue the two remaining cardboard circles together, placing the smaller one on the larger one exactly in the middle. Glue the resulting blank to the tape reel instead of the bottom. Decorate the bottom with a colored paper circle.
Step 5
Glue the notched circles to the lid and bottom of the box from the outside.
Step 6
Measure the height and circumference of the resulting box and its lid, cut out rectangles of the required width from thick colored paper and glue them to the blanks.
Step 7
Decorate the resulting box with ribbons, lace and other decorative items to your liking. The duct tape reel box is ready.
