Instructions
Step 1
First, take a knitting needle and wind some newspaper tubes. If in the process you do not have enough tubes, you can wind them up more.
In order to twist the tube, cut the newspaper into strips of 5 cm. After that we wind the strip onto the knitting needle and the tip, greased with glue, and bend it.
Step 2
When the straws are ready and dry, take 16 of them and arrange them in a crisscross pattern so that each straw intertwines the next. After that, choose one longer tube, it will be working, insert it into the base, bend it in half and weave it using the "string" technique. Weave until the working tube ends, then insert a new tube into the end of the working tube, having previously greased it with glue, and continue to weave to the top.
Step 3
When you have braided the box to the top, cut off the excess tubes and grease the entire box with glue. Leave to dry completely. Further, the finished box can be painted in any color and decorated as you like.
