Step 1
The first thing that is required is to choose the style in which the bush will be drawn; the technique of performing the work and the choice of tools necessary for its execution depend on this.

If you decide to draw a bush with a simple pencil, then the drawing process will consist of stages performed exclusively with a simple pencil. First, the trunk and branches of the bush are drawn, at this stage there is no need to draw in detail the branches of the bush, since they will be covered with leaves (by default, we draw a bush with leaves), so the lines of the branches can only be slightly outlined with a pencil.

After drawing the trunk of the bush and branches, you should choose the style of drawing the leaves and crown of the bush.

If we use a comic style or animation style, then there is no need to draw the leaves in detail, it is enough to draw the outline of the crown and add roughness that imitates the foliage in the crown of the bush.

If you use an artistic style, then here you also need to choose - to draw in detail the leaves on the bush or just outline their position in the form of fuzzy strokes, and further detailing is carried out with the help of paints.

If drawing a bush involves the use of paints, then in this case the work is divided into two main stages - drawing with a pencil and painting with paints.

The pencil stage consists in drawing the structure of the branches, trunk and foliage of the bush and is described in detail above. When working with paints, the stage of drawing a bush with a pencil also does not require strong drawing in details, detailing will be carried out at the stage of working with paints.
Step 8
Working with paints begins with the application of basic colors to the finished sketch of the bush. If it is assumed that there is a background in the picture, then it should be painted first, since it will be behind the whole picture. Then the trunk, branches are painted, leaves are painted on top of the branches to give the effect of the volumetric foliage surrounding the bush from all sides.
Step 9
After the main colors are put on the paper, you can move on to the image of the texture of the leaves, depict in color the heterogeneous structure of the branches of the bush and the trunk, as well as various lighting effects in the form of darkening darker parts or lightening brighter parts of the bush. If necessary, painting of the ground or grass is performed, depending on where the depicted bush is located.
