Step 1

Step 2

Step 3
When knitting the next rows, add loops at regular intervals. Work 2 stitches on the first stitch of the previous row, make 4-5 stitches and add 1 stitch again. As you move away from the center, the gaps between the additions of the loops increase. Make sure the edges are straight. A wavy line is produced by adding too many loops. In this case, it is better to dissolve the last row and knit it again, reducing the number of new columns.
Step 4
When you have a slightly convex 12 cm circle, knit several rows, reducing the number of loops. This is necessary so that the skullcap does not fall off the head. Decrease each row by 4 loops, knitting 2 stitches together at equal intervals. Knit in this way no more than five rows. You should end up with something like a low-edged saucer.
Step 5
Knit the side in a circle without adding or subtracting loops. Its height is 4-5 cm. You can knit all the time with the same knit, or you can make an openwork pattern along the edge.
