Flint in Minecraft is needed to create flint and arrows. This makes it a very valuable resource. You cannot create it, but you can get it. The source of silicon is gravel.
Instructions
Step 1
Gravel is the most useless material in the game. It is not used to create other blocks, it crumbles (however, this makes it a good raw material for traps), but it is quite common.
Step 2
Gravel can be found at shallow depths, underground or underwater. For those who like to dig long passages at a decent depth, it can significantly spoil the research, because when the holding block of the stone is removed, it begins to collapse, which threatens to suffocate. And if there is a lake of lava or water above it, an even more unpleasant death awaits the player.
Step 3
Flint falls out of gravel with a ten percent probability. In this case, either gravel or flint can fall out of the destroyed block of gravel, which makes it impossible to extract an infinite amount of flint from one unit of gravel.
Step 4
The gravel collected during the journey can be placed on the ground and destroyed again, this will allow you to extract a small amount of flint. The procedure can be repeated for a long time, until all the gravel runs out or until the flint stops falling out.
Step 5
It is most convenient to dig gravel with a shovel from any material. This speeds up production by two, or even three times. It is most reasonable to make shovels from sticks and cobblestones, they wear out quickly, but they allow you to extract a sufficient amount of flint and gravel.
Step 6
If you want to collect a really large amount of flint, make a diamond or iron shovel and enchant it for good luck. This can be done using the enchanting table or books already enchanted on it (using an anvil). To enchant an item or book, you need to place it in the active slot of the enchanting table and choose how much experience you want to spend on the operation. Experience is given to you for killing monsters, animals and for the extraction of valuable materials. The enchantment on the enchanting table is applied depending on the experience spent. But if after this procedure you received a book with the enchantments you need, you can transfer them to an item using an anvil, spending an additional small amount of experience.
Step 7
The first level "luck" enchantment doubles the chance of getting flint, and "luck" of the third level allows you to always get flint when mining gravel.
Step 8
If there is a village near you, you can order one of the residents to process gravel into flint. You have to pay for the deal with emeralds. In this case, you will still receive less flint than gravel.
