Biography
In 1970, in the London family of the famous Hungarian inventor of medical equipment George Wise and his wife, the psychotherapist Edith Ruth (Teich), a daughter was born, whom they decided to call by the Jewish name Rachel. With his diligent attitude to work and outstanding abilities, his father won respect in England. His most important inventions were respirators, which provided people with their own oxygen, as well as machines that sense landmines.
Rachel's parents fled to England from Central Europe before the outbreak of World War II. So, they came to the UK around 1938. Her father is a Hungarian immigrant, of Jewish origin, and her mother is Italian and Austrian, of Jewish origin. In 1973, Rachel's parents had another daughter, Minnie. She became a curator and photographer.
After the parents built a house in the capital of Great Britain, they decided to give Rachel a good education. Rachel's parents sent Rachel to study at two of England's most prestigious educational institutions - St. Paul's School for Girls in London (where she was in the same class as actress Emily Mortimer), and Benenden School (an independent private school for girls aged 11-18).
After that, she continued her studies at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University. Here she managed to become a unique student. When Rachel was studying English at Trinity Hall at Cambridge University, she formed the Speaking Languages theater company. In 1991, at the Edinburgh Festival, Rachel received the Student Drama Award for her own play, which she not only wrote, but also performed. So, Rachel successfully graduated from the university and received a bachelor of arts degree.
However, Rachel's youth was not entirely easy. The girl was expelled from the Benenden School around the time her parents divorced. Then she focused heavily on modeling and acting in order to somehow cope with her emotional problems. “My 20 years were terrible,” she admitted in an interview. "It was a very difficult time."

Personal life
Rachel doesn't like to talk about her personal life. She believes that in this way many stellar problems leading to divorce can be avoided. But, studying the foreign press and her own interviews, I still managed to find out some interesting moments of her personal life. During her studies at Cambridge University, Rachel had a love with Ben Miller. But later the couple broke up due to the fact that each chose his own path in life. Then, in 2001, she fell in love with Darren Aronofsky, who was a renowned producer and American filmmaker.
He spotted Rachel backstage at the Almeida Theater in London, when she was the main character in The Shape of Things. The feelings were mutual, and they gradually moved from dating to serious relationships. The wife moved to New York, and a year later they had a child - a son, Henry. The family lived in the east of Manhattan. Constant long separation, lasting for months, led to the couple's divorce. And in 2010 they divorced. Then Rachel Wise decided to link fate with another person. This is the famous "James Bond" - the English actor Daniel Craig.
Rachel and Daniel were friends for years before they eventually got married. The couple met at university, but it was only decades later that they decided to become a couple. In November 2010, they starred in the same movie "Dream House" (2011), dated for about six months and decided to get married. The wedding ceremony was attended by only four people, including her son and daughter Craig. Two close family friends acted as official witnesses. The husband is kind to his wife.
