Each generation has its own iconic figures and idols that serve as a guide in life. Samples of pop art from the times of stagnation have sunk deeply into the memory of people born in the USSR. Evgeny Bronevitsky is a veteran of the Russian stage, he is remembered and loved.
A distant start
Leningrad in Soviet times was called the cultural capital of the country. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the city of labor glory turned into a bandit Petersburg. Evgeny Bronevitsky was born on June 30, 1945 in an elite family. Parents lived in the city on the Neva. Father, military sailor, sea captain. Mother, a singer, performed in the Leningrad Chapel. The boy had an older brother, who is known as the first husband of the popular singer Edita Piekha.
Following family traditions, Eugene, after graduating from school, decided to get a military education and entered the famous Military Mechanical Institute. However, the disciplines that had to be mastered in the learning process were given to the student with great difficulty. Even at school, the future guitarist disliked exact sciences. A refined nature did not accept theorems, formulas and other mathematical categories. After some hesitation, he interrupted his studies and "was released."
On the professional stage
By the mid-60s, vocal and instrumental ensembles were formed and performed throughout the country. By this time, the Liverpool four called "The Beatles" were already "noisy" all over the world. The Soviet guys did not want to stay behind. It is important to note that, as a schoolboy, Bronevitsky seriously mastered the technique of playing the guitar. He did not study at a music school, but among his peers he became known as a cool guitarist. When Eugene left the institute, he was immediately invited to the VIA "Singing Guitars".
The stage career of Bronevitsky was developing successfully. He harmoniously joined the team. With a good voice, he performed as a vocalist. In the early 70s, there was intense competition on the stage. Composers, poets, singers and ensembles fought for a place in the sun. At the same time, censorship served as a severe limiting factor. Despite various obstacles, the team demonstrated a consistently high quality of their programs.
Personal life score
It so happened that Bronevitsky's biography is inseparable from the fate of Singing Guitars. In 1975, most of the members of the ensemble became interested in staging the rock opera Orpheus and Eurydice. The project in the new format turned out to be successful, and the team fell apart. Evgeny moved to the popular Druzhba ensemble, led by his older brother. Then followed a series of "wanderings" in other teams. And only in 1997 "Singing Guitars" reunited again.
Little is known about the musician's personal life. Eugene lives alone, except for the guitar. Free time is devoted to work and creativity. Once he was married, but does not like to remember about it. His wife left him, but left his daughter. She left, got married and gave birth to another girl. She gave birth and died after a while. At the moment, Bronevitsky has two adult daughters. The musician lives in a one-room apartment on the outskirts of St. Petersburg and does not grumble about fate.
