New Year's origami - this phrase is often compared with New Year's snowflakes on the window. Associations associated with ancient Japanese art are less common. The origami technique has a positive effect on fine motor skills and memory. Take your child, test your own abilities.

It is necessary

  • - colored paper;
  • - scissors.

Instructions

Step 1

Build a model of a Christmas tree made of modules. A module is a small triangle folded from 1/32 of an A4 sheet. Try folding such a module yourself. Fold part of the sheet in half lengthwise, then fold across, press the middle well. Next, unfold the rectangle, fold the corners towards the middle, towards you, bend the long parts along the edge, hide the remaining small corners inward. Fold the triangle in half, the seam should be outside - this is the future "pocket". For a modular tree, 353 of these triangles are required. The manufacturing process of the modules is not complicated, but laborious.

Step 2

New Year's origami "Christmas tree" consists of five "Stars". Start with the smallest module. It needs eight "triangles". Take three triangles - modules, insert two of them into the "pocket" on both sides of the other - these are leaves. Fix each subsequent leaf with one more triangle-module, collect all eight leaves in one part.

Step 3

The next module is more complicated. Insert two more modules into the triangle pocket on each side of the triangle, fix the structure with one more module. You need five such leaves. Fix them together with the next module, and insert another triangle into the pocket - this will be the second part of the tree.

Step 4

Collect the third part, it should consist of 12 leaves, six of which are three triangles, and six more are one triangle; alternate the leaves. Connect the leaves together using triangle modules. Insert the fastener into a large leaf (where there are three modules), connect all the leaves with the same fastener. The fourth part of the tree is seven large leaves, which are collected according to the previous principle.

Step 5

The fifth part of the tree is 14 leaves. Alternate between large and small, add fasteners between them. In total, there should be six triangular modules in a row of one leaf. When all five parts are assembled, proceed to the trunk. Take a piece of wire or plastic tubing. Gather the pieces of the tree together, decorate it with a star.
