Instructions

Step 1

Think about what kind of chamomile you want to depict, the proportions of the auxiliary details that need to be built for the sketch depend on this. For example, pharmaceutical chamomile has very short, often reduced petals, and its core can be convex or even conical. Roman or English chamomile is very similar to pharmacy chamomile, but its petals have a more regular shape. In some varieties of garden chamomile, the core is completely flat, and the white petals may have a carved edge.

Step 2

Build auxiliary parts. If you are drawing a daisy from above, draw two circles with one center. The proportions of the radii depend on the grade you choose. If you are depicting a flower on a leg, instead of circles, draw two ovals, one inside the other. Their centers must also coincide.

Step 3

Draw the core of the chamomile. It is made up of tiny tubular flowers, giving the impression that the central disc is uneven. Select with a curved line whether the core is concave or convex, slightly deepen the very center of the flower.

Step 4

Draw long petals growing along the edges of the center section. As a rule, they are arranged in several rows. Draw them as elongated ovals within the area enclosed between the small and large auxiliary ovals. These petals can be straight or curved downward.

Step 5

Don't forget the leaves of the plant. In wild species, they are quite thin, similar to the branches of dill. In garden daisies, they have an elliptical shape, dotted with jags around the entire perimeter.

Step 6

Delete construction lines.

Step 7

Start coloring. Make the core of the chamomile yellow to reflect the structure of the flower, use the tip of the brush to touch the paper to create small strokes. On the white petals, select slightly noticeable longitudinal veins, create shadows on those located under the upper rows.
