Easter cakes and colored eggs are the attributes of the holiday. It is necessary

  • Eggs
  • Sharp needle
  • Paints and brushes
  • PVA glue
  • Decor elements

Instructions

Step 1

Take a sharp needle and carefully poke two small holes in the raw egg. They should be located opposite each other. Blow the contents of the egg onto a saucer and place the shells in a well-ventilated place to dry.

Step 2

You can paint the eggs with ordinary paint, such as acrylic or gouache, then the products will turn out to be bright and truly festive. In order for the paints not to stretch, you can add a few drops of PVA glue to the gouache. There is no need to add glue to acrylic paints. Use a wide brush for the background and a thin squirrel for the pattern.

Step 3

Hold the egg between your index finger and thumb. The hand that you will be working with should be firmly on the table to get a clear drawing. Paint from top to bottom, then the paint will lay smoother. You can apply patterns with markers, cotton swabs, sponges, or other materials at hand.

Step 4

In order to diversify the process, cut the applique from sticky leaves or thin napkins. Glue these appliques on the egg, paint it with some paint and put it to dry. After you peel off the leaves, you can paint over the resulting pattern with contrasting paint. You can also glue leaves, dried flowers.

Step 5

To create an original pattern, wrap the egg tightly with a thin cord or thread. After staining, remove the cord and you will see a spiral pattern. You can decorate the shell with beads, sequins, beads, sparkles or other decorative elements. It is best to glue them with tweezers on PVA glue. To get the so-called specks, you can spot color the egg with a cotton swab. Happy holiday to you!
