The main table decorations at Easter are Easter cottage cheese, Easter cake and colored eggs. Each hostess, on the eve of a bright holiday, thinks over the design options for these dishes so that the table looks beautiful and original and does not leave guests indifferent. Dyeing eggs in bright colors is a procedure that requires special attention.
It is necessary
- - food colorings;
- - water;
- - containers in which staining will be performed;
- - vegetable oil;
- - stickers.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to paint eggs in two colors is to paint one half in one color and the other in the other. To do this, it is enough to take hard-boiled eggs in a white shell and two solutions of different colors. The workflow is simple: you need to place the eggs in one solution for three to five minutes so that they are only 1/2 or 1/4 covered with liquid (depending on your preference). Next, the eggs should be transferred to a solution of a different color so that the uncolored part of them is immersed in the liquid. After another three to four minutes, the product can be removed from the solution.
Step 2
If you need to get eggs with unusual patterns, for example, in the form of hearts, peas, flowers or butterflies, then in this case the course of work is as follows: first, you should paint the eggs in such a color as the drawings on the product should ultimately be. It is advisable to choose light, gentle colors - blue, pale yellow or slightly pinkish. It is not difficult to get a delicate shade, it is enough to hold the eggs in the dye solution half as much as is necessary according to the instructions. After the eggs are painted, stickers of the desired shapes should be glued to them (it is worth noting that it is better to take stickers on a plastic basis), then place them in a solution, the color of which will be the main shade of the eggs. After a few minutes, the eggs can be taken out, blotted with a napkin, and then peeled off the stickers.
Step 3
It is also not difficult to achieve the effect of marble eggs. To do this, you must first color the eggs in a light color (how to do this, you can read above), then make a concentrated solution of food coloring in a small container (dilute a bag of dye, using half the amount of water required by the instructions), pour into composition 1-2 teaspoons of vegetable oil, mix, then dip prepared eggs in it for a few seconds. Using this technique, you can be sure that each egg will have a unique marble pattern.
