It's nice to go skiing on a sunny winter day in the forest. Such a walk brings a lot of positive emotions even to those who do not go in for sports, but simply decided to ride for their own pleasure. However, few people would think to ride in the forest without a ski track. Once upon a time, hunters did this, but most often on short wide skis lined with fur. Now it is extremely difficult to get such skis, but you will not really ride on ordinary skis in deep snow. Therefore, first you need to lay a ski track.

It is necessary

  • - snowmobile;
  • - snowcat;
  • - snow cutter;
  • - children sledges;
  • - a pair of old unnecessary skis;
  • - cargo;
  • - skiing.

Instructions

Step 1

If you live in a village or in a holiday village and want to make a ski run for all your neighbors, the easiest way is to get everyone together, find the owner of the snowmobile and ask him to ride once or twice along the future track. In this case, you will also need a snow cutter, which clings to the snowmobile and lays the track. Unfortunately, not everyone has such an opportunity, so often ski lovers have to get out of the situation in other ways.

Step 2

If the track is short, you can simply ride it. The first circle will have to be driven, of course, without a ski track. But this has been done from time immemorial in the northern countries, where skis were not so much sports equipment as a vehicle. This method is good if you want to make a children's track on your site or, say, around a school or kindergarten.

Step 3

Next to the main ski track, roll 2 smaller tracks for sticks. This can be done when the ski track is already sufficiently knurled. Put, for example, the left ski in the already rolled track, and the right one - where the poles will be placed and go a few laps. Then put your right foot in the finished track and trample the pole track on the other side.

Step 4

In order to quickly make a long track, where there is no opportunity to ride in a circle many times, it is better to compact the snow first. To do this, make a simple device. Tie the old skis to the wooden slats of the children's sleds at the same distance as the track tracks. In this case, it doesn't matter how long the skis are. The main thing is that they have a whole front part. On skis, an inverted sled must be ridden. Place a load of about 25 kg on the sled. Walk 1 time along the track.

Step 5

After compacting the snow, go once along the track on regular skis. It will be much easier than rolling on loose snow. The rest of the work can be postponed until the next day. In the same way as when laying a short track, go 1 lap with your skis in both tracks of the track, and then make the stick tracks in turn.
