It is necessary

  • - billiard tables;
  • - equipment for the game;
  • - chairs.

Instructions

Step 1

Decide what kind of tournament will be. Billiards competitions can be classified and non-classification. In the case of a corporate tournament, most likely, you will not assign sports categories and titles to the participants. Also determine what will be the form of the competition (individual championship, team or personal-team).

Step 2

Divide participants into age categories. It is advisable to distinguish groups under 18 years old, from 18 to 40 years old and over 40 years old. At the same time, for a corporate tournament, there is no need to divide the participants by gender. When deciding whether to belong to an age group, it is sufficient to take into account only the year of birth.

Step 3

Appoint a tournament organizer. His responsibilities will include the development of regulations on the competition, preparatory activities, solving current organizational issues during the competition.

Step 4

Develop a competition regulation. As a rule, it is drawn up by the tournament organizer. Include in the regulation sections on the goals of the tournament, the timing and location of it, the conditions for admitting participants to the competitions, the order of judging, and so on. Indicate what the prize pool will be for the tournament (mention sponsors of the competition, if any). Include other sections as needed.

Step 5

Appoint the panel of judges, including the Chief Judge, his deputy, table judges, competition secretary. The chief referee monitors the participants' compliance with the established rules, checks the condition of the tournament venue, inventory and billiard equipment, and also conducts meetings of the panel of judges and makes final decisions.

Step 6

Determine the location of the competition. It should be comfortable and comply with the rules of the game. Make sure that the tournament venue is equipped with billiards equipment and inventory. Provide seating for spectators as well. Provide accommodation for the participants on the day of the tournament. Provide a chair or chair for each participant in the table area. Provide information about the place and time of the competition in advance to the participants, fans, and the panel of judges.

Step 7

Before holding a tournament, check the availability and condition of equipment and inventory. This can be entrusted to a specially created technical commission, which must assess the compliance of billiard tables, balls and other equipment with standards.

Step 8

Maintain scoresheet and competition table. Their management can be entrusted to the secretary of the panel of judges. The form and procedure for maintaining documents is approved by the Chief Referee of the tournament.

Step 9

At the end of the tournament, organize a solemn award ceremony for the winners. It would be appropriate to give each of the participants, regardless of their place, a branded souvenir with the logo of the organization and the emblem of the tournament.
