Even amateurs can organize a tournament. And the more participants gather, the more interesting it will be. To play tournaments, you need to take care of some organizational issues in advance.

Step 1
Choose a tournament judge. A judge is a person with whom no one argues along the way. Therefore, choose a competent, active person who knows how to talk with people and resolve conflict situations. A judge is both an honorable and very responsible position. If there are volunteers, try to objectively assess the capabilities of each. A general vote can be arranged for this. For some tournaments, the referee must be qualified and even pass an exam.
Step 2
Agree on all the rules of the tournament. Make sure there are no outstanding questions left. Any little thing can ruin everyone's mood later. There will always be participants who are not particularly versed in the rules of the game. If they are used to doing something in their own way, and the rules were not clearly spelled out, then a conflict situation cannot be avoided. Step 3
Determine the prizes for the winners in advance. If possible, try to attract sponsors. In any city there are fans of various sports who are ready to be spectators. They can be found on specialized forums. Invite them to the tournament and ask if they know someone who can sponsor the event. You can even contact the city authorities if you have a really interesting event.
Step 4
Notify possible participants in advance and get their consent to participate in the tournament. Do not leave all this for the last week, because people often need to coordinate time with family and friends.
Step 5
Host a tournament with a grand opening and closing ceremony. Invite amateur groups and trade organizations. May people have a little holiday. Don't forget about the photos. Write a note about this event to your local newspapers.
