For a long time, the Staff of Mysteries (Arcana Mace or simply "arch") remained one of the best types of magic-type weapons in the MMORPG Lineage 2. Updates to the game brought new types of weapons, but thanks to the ability to add an attribute, special abilities and the low cost of inserting life stones, the arch has not lost its popularity. Among other things, the arch can be sharpened with the help of special modification scrolls.

Instructions
Step 1
Get the Arcana Mace weapon in-game. This can be done in several ways.
Craft an item. If you have a recipe, the required amount of key materials, resources and S-grade crystals to craft an arch, try to create it. Find a Maestro-class character with the recipe for the Staff of Secrets written down. Ask him for a crafting service. Try to create a thing. The success rate is 60%.
Buy an arch through the commission sale system. Periodically review the list of items up for auction. Use dialogs of interaction with the NPC of the "Auctioner" class. You may be lucky to be able to purchase a weapon at a bargain price.
Purchase the Staff of Secrets in the free game market. Move between cities and villages. Explore the offerings of characters in private trading mode. Perhaps one of them is selling an arch.
Purchase weapons at the Prestige Shop in Giran. For a small amount, you will receive an Arcana Mace of an unidentified type. Double click on the icon of an item in your inventory in order to identify it, making it usable. There is a small chance that you will receive a common item. In other cases, the type will change to "constrained" (cannot be transferred, add a PVP bonus, a special opportunity will be chosen randomly). If you are satisfied with the option available, proceed to the next step.
Step 2
Purchase the regular S-grade weapon enchant scrolls. These can be obtained in a variety of ways. The most affordable is buying on the market or auction from other players. Also, these items are issued as a reward for completing solo Kamaloka and various quests, dropped as trophies when hunting raid bosses, obtained by appropriation from monsters in high-level locations, such as Antharas' Lair, Valley of the Lizardmen, Wild Beast Farm”, etc.
Step 3
If desired, get blessed scrolls of S-grade weapon enchant or destruction scrolls of weapon enchant of the same rank. Items of the first type can be obtained by completing the quests "Wings of Sand" and "Tale of a Nameless Spirit", hunting high-level raid bosses, and the second - only by killing destruction bosses (they periodically appear next to altars located near exits from large cities).
Step 4
Sharpen the arch. Double click on the enchant scroll icon in the character's inventory. The item upgrade window will open. Transfer the weapon obtained in the first step to one of the slots in this window. Place the enchant scroll in another slot. Click the Upgrade button. Wait for the end of the operation.
Improvement can be successful or unsuccessful. If successful, the item's enchant level is increased by 1. When enchanted up to +3 (inclusive), any improvement will be successful. If the improvement is unsuccessful, the item will be broken (in the case of using ordinary enchant scrolls), the enchant level will be reset (when using blessed scrolls), or the enchant level will not increase (when using the scrolls of destruction). Apply a sharpening scheme that suits you using various scrolls.
