Women's gloves are, of course, an important wardrobe item. After all, they protect the hands from hypothermia and dryness. However, if you went around all the stores in search of the perfect share, but still can't find anything for yourself, then get down to business yourself. Perfect gloves can be knitted easily on your own.

It is necessary

  • - 150 g of yarn (100% wool);
  • - toe knitting needles No. 2, 5.

Instructions

Step 1

Take your measurements first. To knit gloves, you need the circumference of the hand, the length from the wrist to the base of the thumb, the length from the wrist to the base of the little finger, the length of the fingers to the middle of the nail.

Step 2

Cast on the required number of loops. So, for example, if you knit a glove on a brush whose circumference is 17 cm, then cast on 48 loops. When knitting the first row, distribute the loops over 4 knitting needles at the rate of 12 loops each. Close the knitting needles into a ring and knit in a circle. Knitting should look like a single elastic band (1 front, 1 purl) to a height of 5-7 cm.

Step 3

Continue knitting, making a wedge from wrist to thumb for that finger. You can complete this pattern by adding loops. The number of stitches added is equal to the number of half stitches on one knitting needle. Add stitches every 2-3 rows. Keep in mind that gloves should be symmetrical. Therefore, make a wedge for the left on the 4th spoke, and for the right - on the 3rd.

Step 4

Perform the addition with yarns. In the first row, you first need to do 1 yarn over, then knit 1 loop, then yarn over again. In this way, knit two rows. The next addition is performed from three un-knitted loops, of which two are added. Do it like this: 1 yarn over, knit 3 loops, then another yarn over. Repeat two rows again. Then continue knitting, doing yarn over as follows: 1 yarn over, 5/7/9/11 stitches and yarn over again every two rows.

Step 5

When you knit all the added rows, there should be 18 of them. After that, remove the wedge loops on a pin, and above them type air loops, the number of which will be equal to half of the wedge loops. After one row of such knitting, start decreasing. To do this, knit two front loops together. In the last row, knit together 3. After all the decreases, you should have a number of loops equal to the one that was placed on one knitting needle at the very beginning of knitting.

Step 6

Move on to knitting your fingers. To do this, again divide all the loops into 4. Then subtract one from the number of loops of the little finger and ring finger in favor of the index and middle. Then take an extra thread and start knitting your fingers. Do this on three knitting needles with the fourth. They are knitted with a simple garter stitch (front rows - with front loops, purl - with purl). Continue knitting until the middle of your nail. Then start decreasing the stitches evenly - in each row of 2. Close knitting and move on to the next finger.

Step 7

Now shape your thumb. To do this, distribute the loops from the pins over two knitting needles and knit in the same way as the previous ones. Cut the thread. Your gloves are ready.
