The design of the cover of a notebook or a written work in English is done in almost the same way as in Russian. You will need to indicate the name of your educational institution, class or group, specialty, as well as first and last name.

Step 1
Decorate the cover line by line, for this it is better to draw straight lines along the ruler in advance. In total, you should get about 5 lines: to indicate the subject, the name of the educational institution, specialty, year of study, first and last name.
Step 2
Indicate at the top of the cover the subject or discipline in which the notebook will be taught. For example, this can be done in a simple way: English or English Copybook, or it can be done in a more detailed way if, for example, you are studying at the Faculty of Foreign Languages at a university: English Grammar Exercise-book or English Phonetics Exercise-book.
Step 3
Next, write the name of the educational institution: High School # 18, Gymnasium # 39 or Samara State University. If you do not know exactly how to write the name of the institution in English correctly, ask your teacher about it, or use search services on the Internet and an online translator.
Step 4
Indicate the name of your faculty and specialty if you are studying at a university, for example, Humanitarian Faculty, English »specialty. If you are studying in a special school with a focus on learning foreign languages, you should also indicate this: Foreign Languages Gymnasium # 39. Fill in the class or course field at the university: 10th Grade or 4th Year of study.
Step 5
Write first and last name, for example Ivanov Peter. Better check the spelling in advance: some names and surnames have equivalents in English, and some will have to be written in accordance with language rules.
Step 6
Ask your instructor to devote some time to the class to design the covers of the notebooks. It is much easier and more understandable to do this under someone's guidance. In this case, the teacher will inform you of the special requirements for registration, if any, in the educational institution.
