The search for diamonds is based on geological data on the place of their occurrence. Single-handed diamond mining is possible only from placers using the old proven method of ore washing, which was used before the advent of special equipment.
It is necessary
- Tent and other equipment for life outside of civilization.
- Pick and shovel.
- Tray for gold washing.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to find diamonds, it is necessary to understand the specifics of their occurrence. Today, all diamond deposits known to mankind are concentrated in hard-to-reach places far from civilization. There are two types of diamond deposits: primary and alluvial (secondary). The primary deposits are kimberlite and lamporite pipes; 90% of all diamonds are concentrated here. Their production is based on drilling, so this type of deposit is not suitable for diamond mining alone. Placer deposits appeared as a result of destruction of bedrock, therefore they can often be found in river beds. All primary deposits are currently involved in industrial diamond mining, so you shouldn't try to look for diamonds there.
Step 2
In order to find a diamond, it is necessary to find its placer deposit, which may be located next to the root. You can consult a geologist on this matter.
Step 3
Go to the place of possible occurrence of diamonds and start looking for stones. To do this, it is necessary to split the pieces of rock with the help of a pick, and then rinse it on a sieve for rinsing gold.
