Bait is often a shiny object used to draw the fish's attention to a fish hook. A wide variety of gear is used for fish of different types and sizes, but there is a type of bait that almost any prey will bite on. You can make it from available tools.

It is necessary

  • - a piece of woolen cloth or a tin lid (just a flat piece of tin);
  • - not too thick wire;
  • - drill with drills of different diameters;
  • - file or scissors;
  • - bead.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a piece of fine woolen cloth or a metal can. Cut out a circle about 5 cm in diameter. Measure out the smaller circle (1 cm smaller than the original) and cut out. You are holding a ring 1 cm thick.

Step 2

Make the letter "C" out of the ring. To do this, cut the ring laterally at two points at a distance of 1-1.5 cm from each other.

Step 3

Round off the edges of the cuts with a file or scissors, depending on the starting material. At each edge, drill a hole 5 mm from the edge.

Step 4

Drill five or six more holes from one edge to the middle. The diameter of each new one should be slightly larger than the previous one. The hole in the middle should be the largest.

Step 5

Make a loop of elastic, not too thick wire (you can fold a thin one several times). Place a bright, large bead on the tip.

Step 6

Put the workpiece on the wire: first through the extreme hole, then through the middle one, then through the other extreme. The letter “S” should appear on the side, with the drilled holes in the lower part, closer to the bead. Make another loop on top.

Step 7

To use the decoy, simply slide it onto the line. Attach a worm, bloodworm or something similar through the carabiner. Swipe across the water to create noise, turbulence, and bubbles from the holes in the semolina. Potential prey will definitely notice the movement and bite.
