There are still many remote places on the map of Russia where there is no cable TV and fast Internet. Many villagers cannot afford a satellite dish. However, you can organize your own television using a low power transmitter.
It is necessary
- - TV signal source;
- - antenna;
- - radio components;
- - instruments.
Instructions
Step 1
You can use a DVD or VCR as a TV source. Such equipment can provide broadcasting of films, feature transmissions, etc. If you have a computer and a video camera, you can organize news programs. Be sure to equip your computer with a video card with a TV-out.
Step 2
Prepare your transmitter. On some old video recorders of the VM-12 series, it was provided, and it was from it that the signal was fed to the antenna input of the TV. To broadcast over a distance of about 5-6 km, assemble a power amplifier based on one KT904 transistor.
Step 3
Modern DVD-players and most of the VCRs do not have such an output. Assemble one of the simplest TV transmitter circuits for them. It can be made using both imported and domestic transistors. This circuit works in PAL system (B, G)
Step 4
Consider the number of receivable TVs. They can be, for example, old and even black and white. Based on this, choose an image transmission system. It does not affect modern TVs. It is important to take into account here that it is not necessary to combine sound and image transmitters into one circuit. These can be different devices that even work for different antennas. The split circuit sometimes works more reliably.
Step 5
For television transmitters, antennas with a circular radiation pattern are preferable. For example, disc-cone or pin. Choose a location to install the antenna. Best of all, if it is on a hill. This will provide the greatest coverage of the territory. An antenna mast can also be used.
Step 6
To organize the broadcast, define a clear broadcast time. Make a program. If newscasts are envisioned, a presenter who can sight-read and has good diction is needed. The culture of the program is a very important aspect that depends only on you.
Step 7
When designing equipment, you do not need to chase the high power and range of the transmitter. As a rule, a 5 km radius is sufficient. Sometimes you can choose a shorter distance. Otherwise, your transmitter may interfere with other transmitting devices in the area. This will provoke the rightful anger of their owners.
