Fantastic worlds fascinate children, teenagers and adults alike. You catch yourself thinking that you urgently need to take paper and a pencil and create your own planet with unrealistic reliefs and nature. Many artists have already painted their worlds, and people are looking at their paintings with interest.
It is necessary
- - a large sheet of paper;
- - compasses;
- - pencil.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a circle on a large piece of paper with a compass. Think about what surface the planet will have. You have so many different options that they will be enough for more than a dozen worlds. These can be huge craters, sand dunes, water, or deep cracks and faults. Mark out the largest objects on the planet's surface.
Step 2
If the upper layer of a celestial body is heterogeneous, that is, consisting of oceans (of water or lava) and continents, sketch out the outlines of the latter. Working with a pencil with different pressure strengths, highlighting some areas, you can achieve a relief volumetricness of land areas.
Step 3
Draw small islands if you want them to be on the planet. The unevenness of the underwater relief can also be shown in chiaroscuro. Make shallow areas near land light, and shade deep depressions intensively.
Step 4
On the surface of different continents, depict different climates. If the planet is very different from the Earth, forests of crystals and metal lace can grow there. And huge animals will feed on the fruits of these plants, think of their appearance yourself.
Step 5
Remember the fairy tales and fantastic works of famous writers, there you will find many ideas for creating an original landscape on your planet. Rivers of milk and gingerbread trees, walking houses and fountains of flame, huge bright flowers and transparent mirages. Do not limit the flight of your imagination, act with a pencil as soon as the next idea comes.
Step 6
Draw the second side of the planet, thus creating a map. Stylize it with the old sailor cards, for this study the old drawings and try to imitate them. Cover your artwork with a layer of transparent paint, for example, watercolors, make the color similar to the color of yellowed parchment. Cut the edges of the sheet unevenly and burn them in the flame of candles or lighters (carefully, do not burn the masterpiece!).
