Instructions

Step 1

In order to draw a planet called Earth, you need some supplies. These are clean, snow-white paper (thin sheets for office equipment or thick album sheets), two well-sharpened simple pencils (with hard and soft leads), a sharpener for them, an eraser, a ruler, a mold and a compass. You will also need watercolors or colored pencils. If you don't have something, get it from your nearest office supply department.

Step 2

First, draw a circle with the diameter you need using a compass. This circle will become a blank for the future drawing of the planet Earth.

Step 3

Then, using a ruler, draw a circle, dividing it with two intersecting lines into four equal sectors. The point of intersection of these lines is exactly in the center of the circle (coincides with the point where the leg of the compass pierces the paper). And the lines themselves look like a plus sign. In the future, such a markup will help you in drawing the details of the "blue" planet and it will be easier for you to navigate.

Step 4

With thin, almost invisible lines, sketch out a preliminary pencil sketch, schematically depicting North and South America.

Step 5

If you want to get a more accurate image of the continents, then search the Internet and print a picture of an expanded globe.

Step 6

Then just sketch or translate the contour of the continents and islands to your drawing.

Step 7

After the planet Earth gets its general outline, erase all auxiliary lines and failed attempts (incorrectly drawn continents).

Step 8

Now outline all the necessary contours with a thick bold line and proceed to coloring the picture. Use mostly whites, blues, blues, greens, yellows and browns.

Step 9

You can paint over the remaining space of the white sheet with dark blue paint and add small white dots - stars. This will make the picture look more complete.
