Tic-tac-toe is a great game to while away your free moments between lessons or when hanging out with friends. As with any game, you shouldn't rely solely on luck to win. It's best to follow a specific strategy.
Instructions
Step 1
Usually the game is played on a field of 3 by 3 cells. The participants of the game alternately put crosses and toes in each cell. The winner is the one who fastest collects a row of pieces placed vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
Step 2
Making the first move, for example, with a cross, place it in the central square. If your opponent writes the first zero on the top, bottom, or sides of the center, your chances of winning are multiplied. To do this, you just need to put the next cross in any place, except for the opposite to the first zero. After that, the opponent will only have to respond to your actions, and you will easily get a well-deserved victory.
Step 3
If your opponent has put the first zero in the corner cell, draw the second X in the opposite corner from the zero. In such a situation, you can win if the next zero does not take one of the remaining corners.
Step 4
Having occupied the side, not the central, with the first cross, you still have a chance to win. But not when the opponent draws a zero in the center of the field. Then, at best, you can play the game in a draw. When the zeroes occupy the closest corner, try to line up crosses along the wall of the field farthest from the zero. This will bring you an unconditional victory. In other cases, you need to strive to conquer the center, then, depending on the actions of your opponent, you can dream of a victory or an equivalent result.
Step 5
When you get tired of playing on a standard field, you can complicate the game by increasing the size of the field. Make it, for example, 5 by 5 cells or 7 by 7. In this case, also act according to the strategy described above, be careful and try to calculate further possible actions of your opponent and your options.
