Each of us, probably, played tic-tac-toe at school during lessons, on the street with friends, but you never know where else. The standard version consists of a field of 3 by 3 cells, on which the participants put crosses and zeroes in turn. In this game, the winner is the one who is the first to draw a row of three figures, both horizontally and vertically, and diagonally.

Step 1
The crosses make the first move. It is desirable to occupy the center. If the zeroes with their first move take the cells on the sides or above / below the center, then the victory for the crosses is guaranteed. With the second move, the crosses can be used to place a piece anywhere, except for the cell opposite to the first zero and bring the game to victory. Noughts will only have to place their figures, responding to the actions of crosses.
Step 2
If the first move of zeroes falls on the cell in the corner, the crosses still have a chance to win. To do this, you need to put a cross in the opposite corner from zero. If one of the remaining corners is not occupied by zeros on its second move, the crosses will win without any problems.
Step 3
Consider a situation where the crosses do not occupy the center, but any of the corners. In this case, crosses can also win. If the zeroes occupy the center, there will be a draw. This is the maximum that crosses should hope for. Now let's imagine that the zeros have occupied the near corner. In this situation, the crosses need to line up along the wall farthest from the zero, then we can talk about victory. In other cases, the crosses need to conquer the center with the second move, and then everything will depend on luck. In this situation, the game can also be reduced to the cases presented above.
