There are many ways to solve the Rubik's cube. The simplest and most popular algorithm is composing sides of the same color in layers. First, the top layer is collected, then the middle and, at the very end, the bottom.
Instructions
Step 1
Face the puzzle with either side facing you. The side in front of you is called the frontal and is designated F. The other sides in relation to the frontal are designated B, H, L, P, Z - top, bottom, left, right and back sides.
Face rotations are also labeled. Clockwise rotation is indicated only by a letter. For example, L is a clockwise rotation of the left edge. Counterclockwise rotation is defined as a letter with a prime, i.e., P '- counterclockwise rotation of the right edge. The letter with two strokes denotes a 180 degree rotation.
Step 2
Choose a color for the top side. First you need to collect a cross of the same color on it. Moreover, the colors of the side faces of the middle cubes of the upper layer must match the color of the central cubes of the front, back, right and left sides.
Step 3
Place the cube in front of you so that the center of the top side is in your chosen color. For example, white. Determine where the white side cubes are in relation to the top side.
Step 4
If there is already one with a white side face next to the center cube, simply rotate the top side so that the color of the second face matches the color of the center cube of the right, left, front or back side. If there are two or more cubes with white, turn the upper side until the maximum number of colors of the side faces of the cubes of the cross matches the color of the centers of the sides.
Step 5
If the front side cross cube is correctly positioned and the right side cube is turned white upward and the color of the other side does not match the color of the center of the right side, find the correct place on the right side of the cube. To move the cube to the back side, do P 'W P W'. To make the cube go to the left side, rotate the entire Rubik's cube so that the right side becomes frontal and repeat the algorithm.
Step 6
If the cube of the right side is turned white towards the center of the right side, perform R 'V' F 'B. The cube will turn white up and move to the left side.
Step 7
To swap the cubes of the right and back side of the cross, do RV R 'V' R. To do the same with the cubes of the right and left side, do R '' L '' N '' R '' L ''
Step 8
If the side cube of the cross is in the second layer on the right side and the white edge is in the same place, do B '' F '' B ''. The cube will turn over and will be on the back side with the white face up. If the side face of the white cube in the second layer is on the front side, do V P V '. The cube will also move to the back and take the correct position.
Step 9
To move the side cube, which is in the third layer, with the white face on the bottom side, and the second face on the front side, do H '' Z ''. The cube will be on the back side with the white face up. If the side face cube is in the third layer on the right side and the white face is also on the right, do PW F 'W'. The cube will move to the first layer and take place on the right side with the white face up.
Step 10
After collecting the cross, put the corner cubes in place. To do this, turn the cube over so that the top side becomes the bottom. Look for white corner cubes in the top layer. Let's say you find one like this. Rotate the top layer so that the colors of the other two faces match the colors of the central cubes. That is, if the central cubes of the front and right sides are green and orange, respectively, the white-green-orange cube should be in the upper right corner of the front side.
Step 11
Rotate the Rubik's cube so that the corner cube with a white edge is in that spot. If the white face of the corner cube is on the right side, do RV R '. To correctly rotate a corner cube, the white face of which is on the frontal side, do F 'V' F. If the white face of the cube is on top, do P W '' P 'W' P W P '.
Step 12
If the corner cubes with a white face are in the bottom layer, bring them to the top layer. To do this, place the Rubik's cube so that the corner cube that you want to move is at the bottom right and perform P V P 'or F' V 'F.
