The holiday, beloved from childhood, is approaching. I want magic, something fabulous. It's time for creativity, for handicrafts with children. It's time to sew a fabulous creature for the Christmas tree. For example, a cheerful, red-nosed deer in a bright scarf.
It is necessary
- - beige, white, red, gray and blue felt,
- - black, beige, red, gray and blue embroidery threads;
- - scissors, paper, pencil, pins, needle.
Instructions
Step 1
On paper we draw a pattern for the future toy. You can skip the scarf pattern. Since some parts (for example, horns) are "paired", they can be drawn once, and two parts can be cut out one pattern at a time.
Step 2
Carefully cut out the details of the future toy from felt. A small triangle should be cut out of white felt, it will play the role of a highlight on the deer's nose.
Step 3
First, we sew on small details. We start with the nose, sew a "highlight" to it. Before you sew the nose to the head, you need to embroider the eyes, mouth and eyebrows. We mark with a pencil the places for embroidery, along the line of the pencil we embroider the face of a deer with a thin needle. Sew the "white breast" to one part of the torso and the hoof to the "legs" and "arms".
Step 4
Sew the head with a seam "over the edge". We put the ears and horns between the two parts of the head, they need to be sewn in the process of joining the two parts of the head. "Legs" must be placed between two parts of the body, sewn in the process of joining the two parts of the body. Sew the head to the body with a blind seam.
Step 5
Sew the "hands" last. Cut out a strip of blue felt and make cuts around the edges. This will be a deer scarf. Tie the scarf around the neck of the toy and carefully sew the knot to the deer's body. After that, we tint the cheeks of the toy with pastel chalk or watercolor pencil. You can sew on a loop to hang the toy on the tree.
