You can choose a pig both for yourself and as a gift, but it is much more interesting to make a pig yourself. For example, sew it out of felt.

Pink felt, gray felt, red felt, black embroidery thread, dark pink embroidery thread, paper, pencil, scissors, pins, needle
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a pattern. It is better to draw it on graph paper, and then transfer it to tracing paper. The head of the pig should be slightly larger in size than the body. It is better to draw the pattern of the hooves separately.
Step 2
Pin the patterns to the felt with pins, carefully circle with a pencil or chalk and cut out. Need to cut out of felt:
Head - 2 parts;
Ears - 2 parts;
Nose - 1 piece;
Body-2 parts;
T-shirt-2 details;
"Hands" -4 details;
Upper hooves - 2 parts;
"Legs" - 4 parts;
Lower hooves - details.
Step 3
Embroider two nostrils on the "nose" detail with dark pink thread. On one part of the head, embroider the eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows with a black thread, embroider the mouth with a dark pink thread. Sew the nose to the head. Sew on the hooves.
Step 4
The ears should be placed between the two parts of the head. Sew the details with a seam "over the edge"; in the process of sewing the head, you need to sew on the ears. Do not sew the bottom of the head. Fold two parts of the body and put them between the two parts of the shirt, sew on the sides. Sew the legs and arms. The legs should be placed between the two parts of the torso, sewn to the torso.
Step 5
Sew the head to the body with a blind stitch, sew the "arms" over the body.
Step 6
You can tint the pig's cheeks with dry pastel chalk or watercolor pencil. You can sew a New Year's red cap for the pig or tie a scarf.
