A hat knitted for a child should be comfortable, beautiful and soft. To do this, try to use yarn that contains acrylic or cotton. Tie a hat for a boy with a visor and ears. In such a product, any baby will feel comfortable in any wind and frost.

Instructions
Step 1
First, tie the visor of the beanie. To do this, take the knitting needles, cast on 37 loops and go through one row with the front ones. Then knit rows of garter stitch, in every second row at the end and at the beginning, subtract 1 loop. Continue until there are 25 stitches left on the needle. Knit these loops and cut off the thread.
Step 2
Next, make 2 ears. Start with the strings. Cast on 3 stitches on a knitting needle and go for a garter stitch 18-20 cm. Then knit the next row: 1 front, 1 loop from the broach twice, 1 front. Then knit one row with face loops. Run the third row: knit 1, stitch 1 from the broach, then knit stitch to the last stitch, stitch 1 from the broach and finish knit 1. Add stitches until there are 17 stitches on the needle. Next, go 6 cm in garter stitch. Cut the thread.
Step 3
Start knitting the base of the beanie. To do this, cast on 13 loops on the knitting needles, then put on the front loops of the first ear, cast on 8 loops again. Then knit the loops of the visor: knit 2 together 12 times, 1 knit, cast on 8 loops and knit the front loops of the second ear, put on 13 loops again. There should be 69 stitches. Work 4 rows with front stitch. In the next row, add purl loops through one, end with 2 purl. When you knit this row, you should have 126 stitches. Then knit with a pattern: purl 2, knit 2. Go through 16 rows with this pattern. Knit the next row like this: purl 2 together, (knit 2, purl 2 together). This makes 94 stitches. Then decrease 2 stitches evenly.
Step 4
Start knitting the top. First row: (K11, K2tog) 7 times, finish K1. Walk the next row with purl stitch. Third row: (K10, K2 together) 7 times and K1. The fourth row is purl loops. Fifth row: (K 9, K 2 together) 7 times, K 1. Next, subtract 7 stitches in each odd row until there are 15 stitches left on the knitting needle. Tear off the thread and pull off the loops. Then fasten the thread well.
Step 5
Sew a seam on the back of the cap. Sew the sides of the visor together with the main part of the beanie. Make a small pom-pom and attach it in the center of the piece.
